Wouter Born founded Born Capital and is its General Partner. He has worked on software for the office of the CFO since 2001, when he joined Partake Consulting to implement performance management systems at Fortune 500 companies. In 2007 he co-founded CXO Software (CXO-Cockpit), whose reporting dashboards served enterprises worldwide. As CTO and CEO of the Americas, he built the company's US business. When insightsoftware acquired CXO Software in 2018, he stayed on as SVP Strategy & M&A. He writes AI CFO Office, a newsletter on AI for CFOs and finance leaders with more than 50,000 subscribers, and hosts live sessions for its members. He holds a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School.
