Chris Meyer is a chartered accountant who became a software CEO. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Johannesburg and is a member of both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and CIMA. In 2009 he joined Excel4apps, whose tools bring Oracle and SAP financial data into Excel for reporting, budgeting and journals, to lead its Americas business. He added the UK and Europe in 2014 and became CEO in 2016. In 2018 he led the company through its acquisition by insightsoftware. At Born Capital he is a partner on the Investment Committee.
